Outright plays (1.5pts):
Becky Morgan to win 12/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
Morgan is one of several LPGA Tour members who have stayed on beyond the Women's British Open and with no Annika Sorenstam, she is the main attraction in front of her home fans. With finishes of 4th, 6th and 12th in the last three years around Royal Porthcawl, she has come close to winning, but stands a very good chance this week given the elevation in her game over the past 15 months. Her top-3 finish last week was her third of the year and she will be determined to win this event, if any, this year.
Johanna Head to win 33/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
By comparison, Head's form on the LPGA Tour has been disappointing, though with three top-25 finishes in her last four LPGA Tour events, this is her best showing on that Tour for some time. With a good history on this course - top-12 finishes in all three previous appearances - she will be hopeful that she can better than two 6th place finishes she has secured on the Ladies European Tour this year.
Helen Alfredsson to win 33/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
Alfredsson is another with a good history around Royal Porthcawl - she won the event in 2001 and then finished 4th the following year. Her form has been mixed this year, but it is only ten months since she won on the LPGA Tour so any resemblance of that form would be enough to see her vying for another Welsh trophy.
