Was there a secret meeting of all the GMs in the NBA where they agreed to not play any D???

This is absurd.

Yeah, Klay Thompson is a great shooter, but take a look closely at those shots last night. Where was the hand in his face? They were basically practice jumpers for him. He probably goes 18-20 in practice on open jumpers from beyond the three point line.

Look at all the totals posted for the games, everything in the 220+ range....even a NYK game!!!

Jordan would average 50 a game in this environment.

Nuggets game last night.

They needed to score 70 points in the 4Q to go over. Easy money for under bettors, right. Wrong!

They scored 17 points in the last 61 seconds to wind up with 67 points in the 4Q. Nothing is easy.

If they want to post totals of 230 I'll take my chances and take unders all day.

That was a very interesting game last night. I ended up taking CHI ov 28.5 points in the 3Q. They scored 39!!

Maybe I'm just getting old, but I remember the days when a 220 total was very high.

Just look at the posted totals for tonight....plenty of 220+.

And why does no one play D anymore? I thought LBJ was a great defender, now even he doesn't try to get back.

Add to this all the high scoring in the NFL, seems like the leagues are trying to juice scoring to keep and/or grow the fan base.

I know, I know, I'm an old curmudgeon. But its all about the Xbox generation. I really don't watch much anymore....the leagues certainly don't care about me, but the 15-35 crowd they will kill for.

I used to love watching some D. I'm a dinosaur.

I agree, not the game I'm accustomed to either.

Have to draw in more fans with wide open scoring affairs I guess, you know, the ones that are now used to having everything handed to them basically
