There's another one too about if the dow is 200 and some points below 6 mos or some silmilar period back. Which it is implicating the incumbent will lose.

djv- the last few mos Bush had been ahead in the polls especially after Kerry's dismal performance following his DNC nomination.
Then it was polls don't matter except the one on Nov. 2.
Then came the debates- back to the polls and finally Kerry has it sewn up because the Redskins lost, etc.

Republicans NEVER have hollered about anything as much as the Democrats have. Go back to 2000. Gore and his people from the moment it was clear, he lost, was SCREAMING UNFAIR. The first time in History anyone tried to blame Republicans of cheating at the polls. Bush was laid back and in fact I thought too laid back. I am just glad he won....The first lawsuits filed in this election? You guessed it, the cry baby Democrats.
