Anyone have a system? Wife is wanting one
Just the softener, not the purification system. Should I go with cheapest, does it matter?

I just replaced my Kinetico water softener. The dang thing had small plastic gears and a tooth would break and it would be $100 to replace them.

I put in a "Home Master" Water Softener it was about $800 installed (I already had the plumbing in place) and it uses a timer instead of little plastic gears to start the regeneration (cleaning) process.

Kinetco MACH Series 2060s - $3495 :nono:

I love my Home Master Water Softener

I hate them. U sure can't get "squeaky"
Clean bc the soap won't fukin come off with soft water. Faucet water tastes nasty with them too.

We've got the RainSoft setup. I pee in the toilet with the soft water and can't tell a difference.

Regen runs at 3am every Saturday but if the salt gets low you can still see the scum

The place I have seen the most improvement is the lack of hard water stains on the shower glass. We Squeegee, who doesn't, but it does seem to help minimize that headache.

For the right price :0074 Jew just have to be a little picky

In the end...

Get whatever B wants - She is too good of a woman to upset over water. Lucky Bastard :toast: :toast: :toast:

six five is right. There's a feeling you cannot rinse thoroughly. I feel like scraping my skin with a credit card when I get out of the shower. It might have something to do with these bath salts though.
