You know they had a nice system going there with the Bennett men and they hire Ken Bone. He's trying to run this fast paced system and you can't win with that style with inferior athletes. You might be a flash in the pan but you can't sustain that at WSU.

agree, this was demonstrated on their defensive end. Didn't have fresh legs to close out on the shooters. Thought they did have some mettle though and hung tough when they could have easily folded the tent

No doubt. They have a ton of heart. I just hate seeing teams change identies. Look at Kent St. Coach may change but identity is the same. WSU went to an elite 8 as a tough minded possession style team. Ken Bone likes to play fast which is ok when you have the best talent in your league ala Carolina, Kansas, Oakland, Old School AZ teams. But it just doesn't work with mid level talent
