I've been waiting for that one! :bigun: Agree that Omar is a tough fighter but he hasn't fought yet a guy like Lucas. He will realize soon that this guy isn't the champ for nothing. Lucas has the chin to stay in the fight and further the fight will last, further Lucas will dominate and maybe finish Sheika with a KO late. It will be a close fight but you gotta give the edge to Lucas.
Lucas will keep his title belt in Montreal:) :weed:

sad that you aren`t getting responses on this excellent fight...classic boxer-puncher match-up.....sheika will come from the opening bell and keep coming....lucas is a nice technician who appears to have an iron chin(although the ko loss to catley scares me)...do you know if it was a cut or a legit stoppage?.....i do know lucas has gone the distance with antwun echols(a monster puncher),fabrice tiozzo and bryant brannon....my gut is,that sheika has to get lucas early if he wants the "w"....sheika has very little defense and takes to much punishment...he has started to break-up in his most recent fights....but,he is aggresiveness personified....may be his last shot at a title and i don`t think he gets a decision in canada under any circumstances.(sorry 18,gotta call it as i sees it)....so,it`s gonna be hell in that ring early...lucas is not a runner,but a boxer who parries punches while standing in front of his man.....i might take a shot with lucas if i got a -140....but all i saw was -175.......i don`t like laying those odds vs a big puncher.....my prediction is also a stoppage(probably mid to later round on a sheika cut or swelling)......

good analysis Garden and thanks for your reply! Yes the lost to Catley was because of a cut and don,t forget Lucas hold Roy Jones til the 12th round before going TKO! For the iron chin you got it right and Sheika will have to go for the KO in the first 4 round and i don,t think he will succeed, then he will get tired and as you said, he is easy to cut so a TKO by Lucas in the 6th or 7th round on him isn't impossible! Odds are now -200. Huge money on Eric Lucas and i think sportsbooks are rooting for Sheika tonight! Think they will be disapointed by the end of the night...moon1 :p

olympic nosedived to -135...jumped over to check the posts and went back and they took it off the board....just my luck...g.l. anyway...

Too bad I can't watch the fight, stupid TSN showing CFL, when it should be friday night boxing.
