Floyd Mayweather may be the best ?Pound-for-Pound? fighter in the world, but even he?d have a tough time beating betED.com ? dollar-for-dollar the best wagering website around.
And betED.com proves that once again with its Lines for this weekend?s huge WBC Super Welterweight title fight between Mayweather (37-0, 24 KOs) and ?Golden Boy? Oscar de la Hoya (38-4, 30 KOs).
At betED.com, you can bet the boxers head-to-head ? de la Hoya (+160), Mayweather (-190) ? or O/U (O11.5 Rounds (-280), U11.5 (220)). Or, you can pick a Prop Bet, like how the fight will be decided ? ex. De la Hoya by KO (+525).
There hasn?t been a boxing match that?s garnered this much attention and anticipation in years. And by the sounds of it, the fighters will make sure it lives up to the advance hype.
At the pre-fight press conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday, both fighters seemed to be ready to let their fists do the talking come Saturday.
Boxing's best pound-for-pound fighter and its most popular champion said little to spark controversy or antagonize each other Wednesday at the largest media gathering before their fight for De La Hoya's WBC 154-pound title Saturday night.
"I think I'm out of words," De La Hoya said at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. "There really isn't much more to say. There's only one thing left to talk about, and that's the result."
That hasn't been the case during the colorful buildup to fight week. There were plenty of promotions for boxing's biggest fight in at least five years, including a reality TV show on HBO, and videos distributed on YouTube.
The only real trash-talking came from Roger Mayweather, Floyd's uncle and trainer, who attacked the fighting credentials of Freddie Roach, De La Hoya's respected trainer.

This could be the most lucrative fight in boxing history.Richard Schaefer, the chief executive of De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions, said the MGM Grand Garden Arena already has sold each of its 16,200 seats, and six casinos on the Las Vegas Strip already have combined to sell 15,700 seats at closed-circuit viewing parties for boxing fans heading to town this weekend.
