Late and after the fact post, but this is what I played in the first match FWIW:

RSA +1/2 -175 to win 0.6 units
RSA +190 risk 0.5 units
Under 2 -120 to win 0.6 units
Under 2 1/2 -185 to win 0.6 units

Throw out the handicapping of players...each team should be tight being the opening game, thus the under plays. And, simply, history dictates the host side preference.

Should be a fun month of soccer!

Umm Mexico dominated the game. If you watched this and cannot tell that was the case then I recommend you do not bet on the WC going forward. Soccer is a sport where many times the better team doesnt win or gets a draw. As always MM is the key.

Thanks...admittedly fortunate, but I've seen too many World Cups where the undermanned squad from host soil magically has things go their way. That is precisely why I said to throw out the handicapping in this one. Close to cashing all of them...stupid that I didn't add the draw.

W,L,P,W for a profit of 0.7 units. Decent start.

Stepping up the units here...seeing this one clearly. Really liking the tactical and defensively sound Greece side to control this one along with the tempo. Believe South Korea is still living off of their WC 2002 reputation and it is undeserved. Looking at the larger picture they are simply not a good team and I don't fancy their chances of mustering even a goal here. Calling for 1-0 Greece, but a little on the pick line for draw safety.

Exact opposite of my "not even close to expert" opinion. Lucky to not lose all three.

Swearing off Gyros for the rest of the year after that rotten Greek effort. Going back in hiding, hope you guys make some money today.
