Maddux cannot be faded here, the total looks tough but I would like to play this game in spite of the big price. I am assuming that the Inspired Pitcher Theory holds here and that Adams will throw five strong innings. Bravos win 4-2.
Jensen started 20 games in Triple A and had an 11-2 record, 3.48 ERA. Strong, young RHPs often come back from AAA and pitch with no fear. Appier has not lost a game in a month but has not always been sharp. I think the kid beats him here and that the anemia returns to the Mets' bats.
Tollberg has gone five starts without giving up a base on balls and Burnett has given up about 100 in that same time frame but has been lucky a lot. Luck fails him here. Marlins win this one about 8-2.
