The weather service started the Tornado Watch with "this is a particularly dangerous situation". The "watch" runs until 11pm. It looks as though we will be getting some rough weather through this area.
Too soon to say if it will be hitting the Arlington area, but, if there is a good chance of these severe storms (like the ones in Midland right now)
making it to the metroplex, I am wondering if they may even want all these people sitting in the stadium. Too make matters worse, Txdot has closed a number of the ramps around the stadium for construction reasons (no one has ever accused our transportation people of being very bright)
Wondering out loud how officials are going to deal with this one.....
