It makes a lot of difference to my handicapping of The Masters if the course is playing long or is hard and dry, so can someone tell me if there has been a lot of rain in the Augusta area recently?

The course can look beautifully manicured, but it has been very soggy underneath in some of the last few years.

TIA :)

No doubt. Thats why my 1 early bet was someone I think can play it either way in Sergio. Hope the weather is nice this week!

Cheers, but I'm looking for someone who knows whether there has been a lot of rain this year or the last month in the Augusta area.

I treat one-week-ahead weather forecasts with as much respect as I do player interviews ;)

Very dry. I believe it was the sixth or seventh driest March in Augusta history. Many eastern US cities had similar weather this past month. It did rain a little Saturday, though, but not much. This link will take you to the daily weather recorded for each day in March. Precipitation is kept daily, and there is an arrow to move into April if you want to track this month's as well.

Best of luck this week.
