Weather Update for Dal/Jax game

It is raining in the Metroplex this morning (I live in Arlington). The forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms throughout the day, and over the rest of the weekend. It's reported that Jax will have Mark Brunell playing the entire first half tonite. Quinn will play the third quarter.

Mickey Spagnola of Dallas Cowboys.com reports that Emmitt Smith will not start tonite. Receivers Galloway and Ismael will have limited playing time, if any. QB Quincy Carter is expected to play the first half. It is also reported by Spagnola that Dallas is treating this game as simply a walk-thru and will try to keep the team healthy for the season opener against Tampa Bay. 3rd string QB Clint Stoerner is expected to play extensively in the 2nd half.
Karim Larrimore has been suspended for the game tonite. Rain will be a determining factor on other Dallas starters for tonite.

If anything changes regarding weather I will update the post.

Still raining here. New update his Dallas QB Quincy Carter playing only one quarter with Anthony Wright taking over in the second quarter. Clint Stoerner is expected to play most of the second half. Points may be hard to come by.

It is now 5:00 pm CST here and the rain has stopped and the sun is out. Doubt if it will rain tonite.
