I just took over the responsibility for maintaining and updating a website for an organization. I have never done this before. The site is hosted by godaddy.com. I was given all the info for the website on disc. Can anyone give me advice or steer me towards a website that will walk me through this process?? Thanks

What "Content Management System" does it use?

One example is WordPress.

This is more important information to maintaining the website than where it is hosted.

Good luck.

That might just be the software the graphical design of the website was created with.

As dawgball said there is likely a website you can "log into" that manages the code or templates your website uses. This is where you would edit and update things. These are fairly easy to use these days depending how complex your website is.

Can you hire a college kid - part-time to set it up for you.

Doing this on your own will be more difficult than you think.
