In his last fight with Paulo Filho he was beating him, and beating him soundly. Only a bad ref stoppage cost him the fight. I'll take him as a dog thank ya very much:SIB

i don`t get the foreign odds,but,i`m not sure why sonnen didn`t win the first go round...

he clipped filho with a punch in the first 20 seconds that had him on queer st for a full round and a half and still ended up getting subbed by a guy that was was completely shot...he couldn`t finish him.....

i don`t blame you for taking him,but,what exactly are the odds(in american)....2-1?

i'll wait for the weigh in. filho has looked physically bad in all of his wec fights and his performances were equally bad despite his winning both fights. if i see that he's been able to get his performance enhancing drug use sorted out then i'll probably stay away.

i took cerrone at -120....he`s tall and angular and i`ve been told by a guy i trust,that even though he`s a submission machine,his stand-up is pretty solid....

so........that and the fact that i`m no mccullough fan,pushed me over the edge...

Gw.......... his base is actually in Muay Thai and he trains regularly w/ Carlos Condit nowadays. Pretty dang good training partner of late.

If u or somebody else can dig it up, there was actually a Tapout episode (the show on Versus channel) featuring D. Cerrone... i think he was a Thai boxer b4 turning MMA, although not sure. :shrug:

His is an armbar king to go along w/ good striking.

that was great stuff.....good of those guys to visit the troops....i have great respect for condit now...

condit is an extreme example...he`s a beast..a killer....but anybody with real tiime experience in mma or boxing has,imo,a dangerous advantage over some average street schmoe...

if you have a skill set,and more importantly,have the experience of standing in while somebody else with some skill was trying to take your head off,you`re gonna usually be o.k.....
