I posted LSU over North Texas yesterday But I forgot North Texas was the NIT champion last year. Defending their title even though their are many new players and a new coach. LSU playing at home in Baton Rouge but people forget NT is the No 1 team in the nation on defense. The game was on ESPN and there is no way I could watch the game and cheer against my alma mater. I took the +3 points and played the moneyline and North Texas soundly beat LSU . North Texas has all year had injuries to its starters. After hearing the announcers say on TV North Texas was also ranked No 1 in the country with injuries and missing starters by all D-1 schools . But everyone was back and the Mean Green last night beat soundly a LSU, SEC team that really should of passed playing in the NIT's Can North Texas win the NITs again. Maybe but Hodges the new coach was Grant's asst last year and has followed his former coach and changed very little. Grant signed a huge contract with Tex Tech. SO shame on me posting LSU but I was smart enough to switch and win a moneyline and Under dog play. Its easy to say now after posting something last night and winning. But I still forget where I parked my car at Costco and am leaving for Vegas tomr. But as I was sitting in my living room watching ESPN and North Texas play I received a telephone call It was someone from Austin and he was asking me : "Box I'm at Southpoint casino sportsbook where are you? Are your wearing your red Phillies hat or your North Texas Green Hat. " Uh ohh I am sitting in my living room in Austin Texas and leaving tomorrow for Southpoint. Think I gave you the wrong dates . Damn My wife then wants to inquire who was I on the phone with and why did you go into the kitchen and talk very quietly. She was waiting to jump on something I forgot or did wrong.

Again playing teams that made the NIT's . Some are happy and not disappointed going to the Junior prom and some are not missing the Senior Prom. But North Texas is happy and now I park my car near the tire place at Costco..and am flying tomorrow from Austin to houston[ Hobby} then to Vegas . My racquetball buddies who are all giving me envelopes and $ for Vegas Think I make a prop bet for UConn to win it all . So if anyone goes to Southpoint this week and see's someone with a Mean Green North Texas hat or a red Phillie hat looking for his seat its me. Good luck to everyone be safe
