Rider on a big time roll.In 1st place coming after a convincing win at Marist.Had a big week with slam dunk win vs Manhattan,upset loss by Iona stopping 7 game win streak and attacking the Foxes up on the Hudson.Siena had a heart breaking loss to fairfield.Archbold the saints only stud has some tired legs.He was unstopable in Dec and Jan.Possibly POY going against Porter.But in his last 5 games he is avg. just 12 pts.And the Saints do everything around him.Their offense does nothing but run Archbold off screens.So MAAC coaches have responded to that tactic with switches and double teams.Fairfield and Manhattan did it and it slowed him down.
Rider is loaded.Porter would be 1st team in the BE.An inside-outside scorer.he is avg 20 pts and 8 bds a game.When is the last time you saw a 6'6 power foward shoot 15-20 shots off the glass.Johnson is the fastest gd in the MAAC.he does it all.They have an outside attack with an array of 3 pt shooters.I think tonite Siena is in trouble.6'10 Reed had a career game vs Marist scoring 14 pts and 10 bds.He will give Miller trouble.
Siena is fighting to stay away from the "MAAC play in game".And Siena owns Rider winning the last 8 games.
But tonite Porter plays his last game at home.Alumni only holds 1,600 people but it will be packed tonite.Rider in pre-season polls was picked in the bottom of the MAAC.Tonite they clinch 1st,cut the nets down,get revenge on 5 yrs,and win by 8 or more pts.
Siena is 3-10 on the road,6-9 ats.Rider is 13-6 ats overall and 6-3 at home but 5-1 ats in Feb.Bronco's win tonite...
Also like Toledo -6.5 over Buffalo.
buffs can't shoot FT's.Have trouble shooting esp. on the road.
Bama pk over Arkansas
Both team has greyhounds.Bama hounds are a tiny bit quicker and stronger.And have a Grizzard.
Temple -2.5 over XU
History favors Owls,this yrs ats favors XU.Think if Cheney can get Lyde to move his fat ass vs West they pull this one out.
VCU +4.5 over Mason.Think this game goes down to the wire.Mason wins it by 1 or 2 pts.
