Purple did beat them 78-70 a month ago..Reese the Griffs 2nd best player played but didn't score...Prochet and Robb dominated in the paint for Purple..
Prochet had a season high 23 pts...hate taking Purple but Purple is 4-10 away and Griffs are 4-7 at home...rival teams both close to each other and both catholic...if Griffs win and cover mea culpa on my part...
Baylor -3.5 over Texas **
Now I know both teams..I sat in row 20 a little closer then doglover,,was a guest of a big time Baylor VIP..met the AD,football coach etc...in fact tonite he is at the Baylor game in Waco...he had no ticket for me because he is taking his wife...
Texas jumped out to a big lead and Baylor never got back in..84-72 final score..but BU's pt gd and leading scorer was sick and had a ankle sprain..he never played in the 2nd half..also Kegler and McClure only played 20 minutes each.. Roach for Texas had 20 and he is suspended for the 3rd time...Mason is the Ivy league transfer who is tearing up the B-12..Vital is tough inside..think the Bears will beat the Longhorns tonite...Texas has a huge advantage inside and they do play pretty good pressure defense..but with Mason at the pt and in full strength,at home...think they send the longhorns back on I-35 for a long bus ride..
