Brenden Morrow was activated from the injured reserve list this morning and is expected to play tonight.

Colorado has just one loss in its past 15 games (11-1-3-0).
G Patrick Roy will be going for his 500th career victory Wednesday. He leads the NHL in goals-against average (1.74) and shutouts (six). He's 5-1-3 in December with a 1.52 GAA and .934 save percentage.
Early wake-up call -- The Avalanche usually leaves the day before a trip but remained in Denver until 7 this morning(mountain time i imagine) so coaches and players could spend Christmas at home with their families. The team didn't practice Monday or Christmas Day.
