Cubs -122 (early game)

Cubs -122 (early game)

Lilly (1-2, 2.42) has looked good this year, just hasn't gotten the run support. Sheets (1-2, 5.00 ERA) has struggled in chicago (0-4 with a 4.85 ERA in his last six starts at Wrigley).

Derrek Lee has posted some good numbers against Sheets (batting .351 (13-for-37) with five home runs and 11 RBIs lifetime.) Lee is homerless so far this year, I think he gets one today.

Mets -1.5 (+105)

Mets -1.5 (+105)

Colorado has lost 15 of its last 16 games at Shea and has been swept in three of their last four series there.

Colorado (8-13) has scored just one run in each of its last two games and four of its last six. The Rockies also have failed to go deep in a franchise-record seven straight games and are last the majors with just seven homers - half as many as the Yankees' Alex Rodriguez .

Rookie starter Mike Pelfrey (0-1, 5.06 ERA)will look to lead New York to its first series sweep this season.

Colorado will counter with Josh Fogg (0-1, 6.61), who was pounded for eight runs and 11 hits in three innings of Friday's 11-1 loss to San Diego.

Adding Mets over 9 (-115)

Adding Mets over 9 (-115)

Taking a shot on the total here.

Colorado has been struggling to score runs, but I think they get a few off Pelfrey, and Fogg has really struggled against the Mets:

In five career starts against the Mets, Fogg is 0-3 with a 6.58 ERA. He lasted just 1 1-3 innings in his last start against them on Aug. 30, giving up eight runs in an 11-3 home loss.

Thank God I took the over in the Mets game. What the hell is going on at Shea?

Oh well, those two plays are a wash.

Boston -130

Boston -130

Getting back on track could be a challenge for an Orioles team that went just 3-15 against Boston last season, including seven losses in nine home meetings. Baltimore pitchers combined for a 6.99 ERA against the Red Sox.

Daniel Cabrera (1-1, 4.10 ERA) hopes to put last season's series behind him when he takes the mound on Wednesday. Cabrera has lost his last four starts against the Red Sox, including three in 2006. He is 1-6 with a 9.27 ERA in eight career starts versus Boston.

Minnesota -145

Minnesota -145

Royals have lost 7 of 9 away games. Minnesota's on a bit of a skid, but KC is just what the doctor ordered.

Perez (1-2, 8.64) in his last start and will do so again Wednesday. Perez gave up four runs and seven hits over five innings versus Minnesota on Friday, good enough to earn his first victory of the season.

The left-hander is 1-1 with a 7.52 ERA in four career starts against the Twins.

Ponson is no treat to have on the mound, but does this crud (Perez) beat the twins twice in a row? I hope not.

KC/Minny Over 10.5 (-110) DOUBLE PLAY

KC/Minny Over 10.5 (-110) DOUBLE PLAY

See above and throw this in:

Ponson is 9-6 with a 4.53 ERA in 18 career starts versus the Royals, which is tied for his most wins against any opponent. He has posted a dismal 19.44 ERA in his last three starts against them, though, allowing 18 earned runs over 8 1-3 innings.
