record 5-4
Gonzaga +2
I see this as a repeat of the Virginia game. Too much size with Gourde, Violette, and Turiaf. Turiaf is getting to the line a lot and may get some of KU's frontcourt players in foul trouble. KU not shooting the 3's well.
MTSU -6.5
Saw this UTM team last year and they didn't have much size or athleticism and they lost their starting backcourt and top 2 frontcourt players to graduation. They were also a poor road team. MTSU has played some good competition in losing their first 2 games and should get an easy win at home here.
Colorado -1
NMS is missing two of their key players in Moore and Jackson in the frontcourt. They will have trouble with CU's 7-0 C Harrison who is avg. 24.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 8 blocks per game. Colorado should control the paint and I don't see NMS winning this one unless they are hot from the perimeter and they lost their sharpshooter Channing to graduation.
Yale +8
Yale brings back a lot of experience with their top 10 scorers off of last year's team back this season. They played well against Oklahoma St. losing by only 9 in their 1st game. WF is playing their 1st game and lost most of their key players in Songaila, Dawson, Scott, and Hicks. May take WF a little while to gel as they are starting 2 freshman and 2 sophomores along with Howard. Think Yale keeps it close.
