Season Record 2-0 +4 units
Yesterday 2-0 +4 units

Seems like everyone did good yesterday on here. Let's hope the trend continues....Big card tonight, have to be selective....

Boston/Miami OVER 172 1 unit. Miami has a game under its belt and looked awful like we expected. They should be able to adjust some to the injury of Odom. Although questionable, i think wade and jones will play. Early in the season, I don't think defensively Miami will be able to counter with defense and will tire. I expect Boston to get to the upper 90's meaning we only need 80 from Miami. Big if, but I'll take a shot.

Knicks +2 2 units. Why the Knicks. Why not. Home opener in an inter eastern battle. No garrity and obviously no hill for the magic. Houston and Van Horn should play. All the consensus and free world like the magic, but I'll take my chances with the home dog.

Atlanta +3.5 1h 1 unit. The worst coach in NBA history makes his home debut with his new team tonight. No Mashburn for the hornets makes his situation even worse. Floyd will find a way for his team to come out flat. Why this guy was even hired is beyond me. Some say he never had a chance in Chicago with the talent he had, but he just got outcoached in many games.

Washington +1.5 1 quarter 2units. Well, its all over the papers. All over the local Chicago media. This is the year Chicago re -establishes itself and makes a run for a playoff spot. Maybe, but the expectations are too much too early for this team. Sure Washington is down and out, but way too much pressure early on the Chicago team. Chandler will not start and will come of the bench as is nursing a sore back. Jalen Rose is playing with a strained thumb on his shooting hand so that helps this play. Bulls should play tight early, may cover late, but I see Washington being competitive early with no pressure on them as they are supposed to be bad. Best thing that could have happened to the bulls as they progress this season though although morbid is the injury to Jay williams. Jamaal Crawford is really good and with full playing time he will make this club a much bettor team.

Good luck to all

Heres I play i wasn't too sure of until watching line movement and making sure of the line-ups, but this is a gem in the rough I hope.

Dallas/GS UNDER 200 2 units. Heres the thing. Obviously last year the total for this game would be upwards of 210 points. But neither of these teams is close to the lineups that they were last year. Okay, the Mavs have a game under their belt and are playing back to back. Could be a little tired although they barely showed up last night they still did have to run. I'm sure their fake promise to play defense will be said again tonight. But heres the thing, who do they have to defend....NO ONE. Of the team that averaged over 100 points for GS last year, no one is back at all really for tonights game. No Jamison, No Arenas, No Jason Richardson (suspension for girlfriend beating), No Troy Murphy....I mean who is going to score for Golden St. tonight. I'm not to worried about Adonyle Foyle, Eric Dampier, Cliff Robinson or of all people Dunleavy. Good luck putting points on the board with this lineup. Dallas will attempt to practice defense, and I just don't see Golden St. being able to put up more than 85 points tonight. That would mean Dallas would have to put up 115 or more to ruin this. Could happen but doubtful. I think plenty of airballs will be thrown up tonight. Close to a 3 unit play, but will keep it at 2.

Oh yeah, and consensus sites way over the over. People are basically betting last years teams to this number and that couldnt be farther from the truth.

Good luck to all

4-2-1 on day +3.8 units

6-2-1 +7.8 units for season

Gonna make a small play on the early morning game. I'll preface this game by saying I guarantee none of the teams coaches or players want to be there. I'm sure they feel screwed. This isn't preseason, but rather a game that counts and they got to fly around the world to play it. With that said, we must also remember that there is basketball in Japan. They have leagues so its not like we are introducing them to a new sport like we do when we ship football teams over there. Ah, but this is the NBA and hate him or not David Stern markets this business like no other. I have no idea what the play is like in the Japan Leagues, but i do know that they stress defense and team play. Something the NBA says they do, but Western Conference teams in general do not. Stern wants to show the world that the NBA is obviously the best and wants to show them a good product. Hence, lots of fast paced action up and down the court, slam dunks, etc.
Just a gut feeling this one is high scoring even though it is in a new environment and 1st game of year. Will tread lightly though...

LA C/ SEA OVER 181 1 unit

Good Luck to All
