Good news .. my son got his power back up in North west Austin WE never lost power but roads are impassable due to 6 inches on the road... no plow trucks salt or sand , so all the 6 inches of snow froze last night and there are ruts of snow all over the entire roads.. Almost 40% of Austin lost its power.. but we are lucky because of the power grid we are on is near a hospital.. and the city can't turn that grid off.. I am learning since 48 hours ago I didn't even know what a grid was. Anyway another storm tonight but on Friday the weather looks like it might hit 70..then the warm sun should melt the ice and snow on the roads..
Had my second cup of java coffee Gevalia Columbian 100% Arabica my wife made.. Again not bad..but it says Mountain blend .. maybe its the Catskills or Adirondacks where I come from...but think its some Colombian mountains..what ever mountain range it was pretty good.. My wife asked me maybe I would stay home from now on and not buy coffee at Starbucks,Valero and other places. The answer is NO Once the roads clear up I;m buying my Dallas Morning News and Austin Statesman ,play my lotto numbers and buying a cup of coffee from some Mountain range somewhere Thanks for the concern by ya'll . Everything is fine here in Austin ,heat, power and no frozen pipes ..and Dayton who just covered by a point,

Iona -6.5 over Quinn ***
Both teams haven't played many games and just when I thought Iona turned the corner they lose to Manhattan by 7.. but I think iona had won 4 of 5 or 5 of 6 and finally Pitino's style is changing the cultural .. Iona used to avg +90 points a game and give up 89.. Under Rick they avg only 72 pts a game BUT give up 68.. that is not a typo..say what you want about Pitino.. he is a good teaching coach..he has won everywhere from Providence to those Greek Islands teams Not sure of record in Greece though. Kenpom doesn't keep track of them . His Greek and Euro record are 33-12 ats.. { I made that up} When you look at his past teams he always had solid gds that attack and score ...Gist is 5'8 and Ross the 6'4 scorer avg almost 20 pts a game .Front court is just avg until he gets his recruits but he does have Joseph at 6'8 inside, and 6'9 Van Eyck.. you know next year he will have a super stud from Greece as a recruit. Quin has lost 3 or 4 in a row.. They give up 69 pts a game on defense and avg 67 on offense.. think they are in trouble vs Iona today. Its a 4.00 pm est 3.00 pm central time game If Iona can shut down Rigoni he is there one threat Iona's Joseph inside should score vs poor Quinn defense.. But Ross is the best player out there and should get his 20-24 pts today.

Back later with a few more.. going to make an attempt to drive to the supermarket ..wish I didn't give away my 25 snow shovels in NY ...who would ever think I needed them in Texas.
Bobby W not sure about Vegas
Wine guy.. coffee not bad.
Jimbowski happy birthday
TD Jesus.. sorry about La salle
NBA .. nice Wagner play

Good to hear! I'm in a hurry now but gonna take your plays, well anything that starts at 7pm or later! Just got home from work and I forgot that I promised my sister that I'd go with her and my nieces/nephews to church for Ash Wednesday. I'll ask for some guidance in the 9pm games ;)

I'll come back to this thread if possible!

I hate when Box and NBA_Kid differ. I went w the kid tonight so I lost on South Florida. Won on UNC and also have Wake Forest +8. Lost on ETSU. I've got Kansas going now and Indiana. Wasn't able to get on L'ville. And got NBA_Kid's picks, both NBA and NCAA.

Went very small tonight and so far I think I'm 1-2.

Again, glad everyone is safe and warm! Oh and that Dayton game last night....I think we won that thing 3 separate times! I kept saying, please no OT...please no double OT....lol. I didn't see the steal at the end to see how it was but thank God there was no foul after RI got it up by 2. That's what I thanked God for in church. In all seriousness I have a lot to be thankful for and shared my gratitude.

My bad about Iona Should of listened to my 1st thoughts when I thought Iona turned the corner..then in last game Manhattan beat them by 7.. That was a sign but I ignored it... lost with East Tenn but won with Indiana,UCF and Kansas.. to many air balls .. back tomorrow
we lost our water tonight but still have power.. I filled the bath tub up with water.. about an hour ago I see it was empty.. I guess the stopper wasn't air tight and it slowly leaked.. tomorrow forecast still bad.. Friday things should ger better.. On the news tonight.. Austin has had 147 straight hour of under 32... almost the 1983 record of 147. But if they had that stat in NY or in the north .. lets see December,Jan,Feb ,thats about 93 days, 24 hours a day.. how many hours are in about 93 days... someone can do the math..
back tomr my bad about Iona .. Pitino you suck ...lol
