or not.....

1) Duquesne -7.5 -110 ( 1U)

The offensive production was absent in the loss to Pittsburgh, but that is forgivable considering that the Panthers are one of the premier teams in the nation. The offense returned against West Virginia, showing a glimpse of the Dukes' potential for this season. The starting five can all put points on the board, starting with center Ron Dokes. The 6-9 juco transfer has lived up to billing thus far, leading the team in scoring (18.5 ppg), while ranking second in rebounding (6.0 rpg). The backcourt tandem of Jimmy Tricco (13.5 ppg) and Kevin Forney (11.5 ppg) provides more than enough perimeter support. The remainder of the starting five consists of forwards Elijah Palmer (8.5 ppg) and Simplice Njoya (8.0 ppg). Palmer has been strong in the paint thus far, leading the team in rebounding with 8.0 caroms per game. Another juco transfer, Palmer averaged 16.8 ppg and 8.6 rpg for Kennedy King College last season. The Dukes even enjoy production from the bench, as senior forward Brad Midgley adds 9.0 ppg in a reserve role.

The Dukes could be much improved this season with a couple of transfers that have performed well thus far. Cleveland State lacks the depth that Duquesne has right now and getting this game in Pittsburgh only strengthens the case for the Dukes in this one.
