Made a nice profit on tuesday with the A's pending. For a recap of my betting style and philosophy in bases look at yesterdays thread.


Mets (Bannister) -1.5 (+175)
The Mets are 5-0 the last 5 that Patterson started against them and 8-2. Patterson Averages less than 6 innings in these appearances and a 4.11 era. Bannister looks very tough and I think he will be solid against the nationals here. Look for the mets lineup to put up a crooked number against Patterson giving bannister a nice lead to hand to the much improved bullpen.

Reds(Arroyo) -1.5 (+175)
Friends don't let friends lay runs with the Reds, but... Rusch is bad in April and bad against the reds. Give the edge to Arroyo switching leagues here. I think the Mets play is strong so pretty sure of at least a split in these two. You never know. Thats why this is gambling.

Oakland won by one in the ninth. Real close to a big start but I will take days like this everyday

Phillies 12-8 last 20 versus lefties. Myers last 10 april starts pitched to 2.63 era. Phillies 5-1 last 6 when Myers starts vs cards.

Mulder in his two lifetime starts vs phillies 1-1 with a 6 era.

Reds just took a 2 run lead in the bottom of the 8th, just need a hold in the ninth now! I played Cincy on the moneyline, but you better believe I was happy to see that run come across in the 8th to cover the runline for ya Clem! Hold em Weathers!!
