loophole, I am looking at Delaware as well, I am seeing +8 at olympic at this time. What do you think the line will do? Last night I played TN st. +12 and If I had waited could have got +14.5 - It did not matter as I covered, but this is another game. Thanks

As you can see from my post below,I totally agree with your Indiana pick but I hope you are wrong.

I expect a 10-15 point loss or worst. It is going to be a long year! Is it to early to say....."wait til next year"?

ok, this is what i'm playing:

bowling green -4-: just got home and haven't checked latest lines but from other posts it appears to have moved to five. michigan looks to be nothing special this season in tommy amaker's first year at the helm. so far an 8 point win over oakland, stomped lowly fairfield, and a loss at western michigan. this game has been sold out and things should be rockin' in anderson arena, where bg is 35-6 overall. bg has wins over a decent delaware team and ole miss, also shooting 55% from the field, 56% from 3 pt line.

delaware +8: former dukie david henderson has really done a decent job here. after a slow start last year, del finished 15-3 after jan 1st, with one of the losses by 5 @ st joe. while they lost their top two starters from last year, 8 lettermen return including 7 of the 10 man rotation henderson used last year. this year's team looks a little quicker also, and will take to that duke-style defense that henderson touts.

st bonny +3-: these guys got me early as i bet against them at cle st kinda expecting the usual slow bonny start. but new coach jan van breda koff has them playing a vicious up tempo trapping defense that has caused chaos. in two games vs niagara and cle st they have collected 40 turnovers. said niagara coach joe mihalich, "this is nothing like i've ever seen from them before nor they've ever done before." at cleveland, bonnies forced 7 to's in first six minutes and blew out to a 15-3 lead. bc 3-0 but all against patsies at home . game is not @ st b but in buffalo at hsbc arena (formerly marine midland) which st b refers to as "home away from home" and at which they are 4-2.

ind -2: despite all the action on indy don't think for a minute that this game is a gimme. tarheels hurting but haven't started 0-3 in 73 years; don't think players aren't aware of this. this is a desparate carolina team and should be very focused tonight but problem is that after the departure of forte tarheels without a proven scorer. lang was supposed to pick up the slack? what a joke - he's a stiff. poor doherty takes the heat but truth is gutheridge left him with a bare cupboard after several recruiting gaffs. got to believe hoosiers superior talent will take the win and the real pissing and moaning will begin in chapel hill. (ah what sweet music to my wolfpack ears - apologies to heel of a guy and others).

wofford +11: just a hunch play on the little rich boy school in spartenburg. first sellout in the history of little ben johnson arena (cap. 3500) think the crowd of drunk frat rats will crank up the volume? you betcha. wofford has a decent team with a lot of good outside shooters. while usc has more talent they have generally played soft inside even against their lesser opponents. despite a decided height advantage against outmanned etsu, they managed only to break even in the rebound stats. instead, gamecocks offense has been mainly shouldered by outside play of the guards, which plays right into wofford's strong suit. jr 6-10 center marius petrovius returns to action tonight after a three game ncaa suspension but only averaged 8 points and 5 rebounds last year so shouldn't expect much more from him tonight.

one unit on all. gl tonight.

Damn Loop....you got me thinking on this St. Bonnie game....Bell is a threat for BC...but they have new backcourt besides him...Damn...I was like Eagles too

That Niagra coach comment didn't help feel any better either,

Thanks

dd, played st b mainly because of great d they are playing. everything i read says they are very comfortable playing at hsbc. there's also an emotional/rivalry aspect to this game but i'm not exactly clear on what it is. both jesuit schools? anybody know?

Loophole,

You had a nice read on the UNC/Indiana game. The effort was there but the talent is not...we just can't shoot the ball. And the sad thing is I don't see where the improvement is going to come from. But, I know you are not crying for me or any Heel fans. As I mentioned to my Tar Heel brother, PPABart, it has been a nice, long 40 year ride that is coming to a screaching halt. So, no crying here!

BTW, I have been extremely impressed with Josh Powell and Julius Hodge this year. The Wuffies will get alot better by the end of the year. I hope you guys make the Big Dance because I actually like Sendak. Good luck and thanks for the acknowledgement but most Tar Heel fans will get what they deserve this year....I know I already have. Messages galore on the answering machine!
