satisfying 3-0 on tuesday as wildcats almost pull off the upset and other two dogs win outright. record now 32-26-1. especially happy for monte towe's privateers. i love betting on second-level instate home dogs like new orleans that have lots of players passed over in recruiting by the big schools like lsu. you can always count on the motivation level to be high.
i think we have another good dog for wednesday.
la tech +5: here's a line based on rep alone. though uab better on paper, right now tech simply playing like the better team. bulldogs 5-2 su, 3-0 ats away; only two losses by 8 @ iowa and by 4 in ot @ oklahoma; beat auburn @ auburn, a team comparable to blazers. tech well coached and well balanced with four players averaging in double digits. uab underachieving this year, team chemistry just not right. at least two players have been suspended already this year for conflicts with coach bartow, currently g asa woods. blazer center will campbell, big component in uab offense, will play tonight despite neck stinger suffered in practice on monday. while uab traditionally has good homecourt advantage, this year they have already lost in birmingham to richmond and lasalle, two teams inferior to tech imo. i think tech should be laying a couple to blazers so got to go with the dog.
looking at a couple of others, back later.
