after a night of nailbiters, does anyone still need persuading about how difficult it is call tourney games? with four of five tuesday night games finishing within a bucket of the posted line caution continues to be the word of the hour. right now i have one afternoon game i think is worthwhile:

houston -3-: pirates are just plain bad away from greenville so feel compelled to go against them in their first ever c-usa tourney game. houston the team with better players and should have something to prove after being taken to the woodshed vs the pirates at home. all suspended cougars except gaines have been reinstated and should feel some sense of atonement towards their teammates who suffered by virtue of their absence.

looking at a couple of later games, will return this afternoon with plays. gl and watch yourself out there.

other plays

lasalle -5
st johns -4

best i can make it both these lines are premised upon power numbers with neutral court scenario and no home advantage. st johns in the garden is obviously not a neutral court and lasalle playing in philly should have a clear edge. just that simple.
