got the postseason breakout we were looking for with a 5-1-1 slate. in a hurry to get the sfternoon games up:

ala -17-
ky -7-

pretty much decided to ride the sec in postseason as i consider it to be the nation's strongest. both road dogs won outright last night and vandy covered as a home fav. bama line is probably the best you will get on a 1 or 2 seed as fau outmatched at just about every position and also depthwise. ky has the potential to blow valpo out and tubby is a good postseason coach.

davidson +12-: wildcats can hang and are motivated.

wake/pep over 160: looks like prosser will crank up the running game today. wouldn't take a side with howard's health up in the air.

gl today, be back later.

ncaa plays for tonight:

unc-w +10-: everything you could want in a tourney dog - solid team with an all-american and good balance, good coach, plays good d, and tournament experience. so cal a team that tends to play down to their opponent.

utah +6: give me majerus and the points this time of year. he is one of the best coaches in the country come tourney time. after roy williams passed, he was dean smith's first choice to take over the tarheels, but school bigwigs knew better.

nit plays:

bowling green +8-: simply too many points to give a solid team like bg in a game where the winner will probably score in the low sixties.

unc-g +14-: even if wise plays, which is doubtful, no way he'll be at top speed, and tigers aren't the same team without him. tigers still in a funk over no ncaa bid and the pyramid will be more than half empty. like davidson, unc-g a solid so con team that is highly motivated for this game. they play a good switching defense that has given memphis trouble all year long.

maybe more later.
