A little late today and missed the NY game...
With Gaborik's much anticipated return to the wild, with a new NHL designed for players like him, I have to like the Wild here. Roloson gets the nod in net after a nice rest. Special teams is the key here and SJ's PP ranked 22nd (13.3%) squares off against the number 1 PK which has given up only 2 goals in 40 tries -- Meanwhile MIN has the number 1 PP scoring 10 goals at a 33.3% pace and faces SJ's 24th ranked PK (77.7%). MIN dominates the special teams, the disparity is so large that I'm basing a lot of this play simply on that dominance and the return of Gaborik.
MIN (-115)
Garon should get the nod against Abesiere. Abbey as you may recall blew a 3 point lead in the 2nd period against NAS and then gave up 3 more goals in the 3rd. Garon's last game he let in 3 3rd period goals and an empty netter, giving up 5 goals on 21 shots. Neither goalie can be relied on to keep a game close, so both offenses and special teams will need to score if they expect to win.
LA/COL Over 6 (-110)
