Wednesday
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Tons of games to pour over today. Lots and lots of points given to the favourites, and since I love the dogs, this is my kinda day!!!

1)St.Bonaventure(+14)

As good as George Washington is, they have been favoured by DD's on the road twice this year and they failed to cover either time. This one looks like it could very well be a flat spot for them as well, as they face the 8-17 Bonnies, before returning home on Saturday to face a pretty good Charlotte team (17-10, 10-4 in conference) in their quest to go a perfect 16-0 in the conference. Do you think they're already looking past tonight to that one?

Bonnies have covered 3 of their last 4.

Got a few days off from the real job, so will be doing some heavy duty capping all day. Will post em as I play em.

Good luck out there tonight,
Tiger

2)South Florida(+18)

I see this line starting to move so I grabbed the 18 at Olympic.

Another potential flat spot, this time for UConn. They are coming off 4 consecutive "High Energy" games..............the loss to Nova, the big road win at West Virg, the OT win over the Irish and then the revenge game at home vs Nova.................now they have the lowly S.Fla Bulls on the road???

South Florida has seemed to hit a wall with 3 straight ATS losses, but are still 9-1 YTD when a dog by 9 or more pts.

Looking at the filtered stats, the Bulls cannot compete at the offensive end or on the boards, but surprisingly, their defensive #'s and the all important free throw #'s are very comparable. They only give up 63.8 pts/gm at home.......a key number when they are getting 18 points.

GL Tiger. Im already on S FL wish i would have grabbed it last night at 19. I see Uconn getting a comfortable lead and then getting playing time for their bench to rest up starters for the conf tourney. Im thinking S FL keeps it within 20 all game and ends at 10 -12pt game.

Thanks for the GL tombo. Let's bring home some winners tonight.

3) Rhode Island(+4.5)

Temple gave Duke all they could handle last time out, but the Owls have not been a good road show this year. They have gone 0-4 both S/U and ATS in their last 4 road games, and in all of those 4 games, the line was 3.5 or less........in other words, all winnable games that ended up as losses.

Rhode Island is 9-6 S/U at home. Temple is 4-8 S/U on the road.

The flitered stats show advantages in ALL the categories I find important.

OFG%
Temple road.......36.9%
R.Island home......42.1%

Free Throws
Temple road.........57.4%
R.Island home......70.6%

DFG%
Temple road.......43.7%
R.Island home......41.9%

A live home dog.

4)Georgia (+14.5)

Florida really scuffling the last month, going 5-6 S/U after that great 17-0 start. They have lost their last 3 games, are 5-8 ATS in their last 13, and are 0-3 ATS as a DD favourite over that span, losing one of those games outright.

Georgia has not been a bad team this year at 15-12 S/U. They are 3-1 ATS as a dog of 9 or more pts this year, winning outright once. They are 5-3 ATS in their last 8 overall, 3-1 ATS in their last 4 on the road, and 9-5 ATS in all away games YTD.

Too many points for a Florida team that seems out of sync.

5)Texas A & M (+6.5)

Dangerous sandwich game for the Longhorns tonight, as they fit this road game in between home dates with 20-7 Kansas last weekend (A big emotional game for them) and next Sunday's hookup with 20-6 Oklahoma that will most likely decide the Big 12 title.

This is the final home game for the Aggies and who better to get up for than Texas? They are 15-2 S/U at home YTD and a solid 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games. They have covered at home vs Texas the last 3 years , including last year's outright win as a 4 point dog.

Texas is 2-4 ATS the last 6 times they have been favoured on the road.

Except for a Longhorn advantage on the boards, the filtered stats are almost dead even. One impressive stat I found was A&M's DFG% over their last 5 games..............a tiny 37.6%.

Another live home dog.

6) Purdue(+4.5)

Indiana is in a tough spot in this one coming off that emotionally charged, nationally televised win over Michigan State on Sunday in Davis's last home game. They are just 3-7 S/U on the road and could be very flat for this one.

This is Purdue's last home game and they are 9-4 S/U at home. They are 3-2 ATS as conference home dogs with one of the two losses in overtime. The 3 wins were over Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota.

Indiana's win over Michigan State aside, they were 0-10 ATS and 1-13 ATS before that, so there's lots of problems here. They are 0-2 as road favourites in the conference, losing both games outright, at Penn State and Minnesota.

The filtered stats also favour the Boilermakers................

OFG%
Indy road.............44.2%
Purdue home.......50.4%

DFG%
Indy road............45.2%
Purdue home.......40.8%

Lots of reasons to like the home side in this one.

7) Tulsa(+12.5)

I think this line is somewhat inflated. I just don't see this being a DD game.

The offensive numbers do favour UTEP, but Tulsa matches up very well on defence and on the boards...........and when I can get those two angles and have a DD dog to go with it, I'll play it every time.

Tulsa is 4-1 ATS their last 5.

UTEP is 4-5 ATS in their last 9, and 0-3 ATS the last 3 times they have been favoured by 7.5 or more.

Last one of the night:

8) Wyoming(+11.5)

The filtered stats show that Wyoming holds advantages over SD State in DFG% and rebounding, and when that is combined with DD's, I will play the dog again.

Wyoming is 3-1 the last 4 times as a dog of 7.5 or more pts. They are also 4-2 ATS the last 6 on the road.

SD State is 0-3 as DD favourite YTD, losing one of them outright.

The Cowboys played this team dead even one month ago, losing by 1 point in overtime. I see no reasons why we won't see a similar matchup tonight.
