Manhattan -6.5 (First Half)

Manhattan is 9-5 in the MAAC behind Marist (10-4) and Rider (10-3). Manhattan was the early favorite to win the conference title and needs to win at least 3 of their final 4 games to keep pace with Marist and Rider.

Canisius is not a good team, even worse on the road -- 2-9 SU and 3-6 ATS. They got a won point win at home over Manhattan and caught Marist on a night when the Red Foxes couldn't shoot straight (16-63) so they've won 2 straight ATS. But they lost 6 straight ATS in the 6 games before that. And they have little motivation now that at 5-9 in the MAAC.

Cansius has won their last two, a nice win at Marist and a one-point home win against Manhattan. In that game the Jaspers? leading scorer Luis Flores was just 4-13 from the field.

In their last game, Manhattan got beat at Niagara 94-83 and it was their defense that was lacking as they allowed Niagara to shoot 59% from the floor.

Manhattan needs a good game tonight to go into Friday?s important match-up at Rider on a winning note and with some confidence.

Manhattan is 11-1 at home and been ahead fairly big in all those 11 wins:

40-34
44-27
42-18
46-33
39-35
33-27
49-33
39-27
36-30
35-27
47-41
38-40 Lost game 75-70

KEY STAT YOU WON'T FIND ANYWHERE ELSE: Manhattan is 5-5 ATS at home but 7-3 ATS in the first half in their home games.

MAC man hellah likes Akron and he's from Toledo. But MAC guru Goat didn't make it one of his picks so that tells you something too.

Both of these teams are playing poorly so IMO anything could happen.

I made enough $$$ last night that I'm taking it easy tonight and waiting for better games tomorrow and Friday.

I guess I'd lean to Akron and the points but I'm not playing it myself.

i did play em basically because they both suck and 9 points seemed like a lot for teams that close to each other that i would assume is somewhat of a rivalry. akron is trying to lose it right now after leading by 14 at the half. hang on zips, lose by 8 if you must!!! you get a bad team laying big points and sometimes they just lose outright, thats where good money lines come in.
