Dodgers -106 over Philadelphia.

JIM FEIST

(915) PHI Phillies
(916) LA Dodgers

Take "Under" Dodger stadium is a huge, pitcher friendly park, and it's no surprise the Dodgers are 34-25 under the total at home. Starter Brad Penny is back and looked great in his first start in 7 weeks, a 6-2 win that sailed under. He's also 8-4 lifetime against the Phillies, with a 3.33 ERA. Best of all, his 98 MPH heater is back. Philadelphia starter Joe Blanton throws a fine sinkerball, perfect for this stadium. Blanton also sports a 1.69 ERA his last three starts, so coming to the NL has been a Godsend for him. Phildelphia is 6-2-1 under the total the last 9 games. Don't look for many runs in this pennant race battle, play the Phillies/Dodgers under the total.

HONDO

August 13, 2008

The Giants came up exceptionally tiny for Hondo last night, getting hammered in Houston to cut the dwindling bankroll to 340 lowensteins.

Tonight, Mr. Aitch expects the Orioles' Guthrie to do a number on the Native Americans

MIGHTY QUINN

Mighty hit with the Indians last night.

Today it's the Yankees. The surplus is 235 sirignanos.

VEGAS EXPERTS

Toronto Blue Jays at Detroit Tigers
Wednesday, August 13th, 7:05 PM ET

The Tigers are struggling as is tonight's starter Kenny Rogers, but this lefty vs. lefty pitching matchup is exactly what the doctor ordered. Detroit is a strong 23-11 vs. southpaws this season, averaging a healthy 5.3 runs/game. Toronto, meanwhile, averages just 3.4 runs/game vs. lefties and is 4-17 on the road in night games vs. lefties. Starter Purcey has a 14.62 road ERA.

Play on: Detroit

MARC LAWRENCE

Cincinnati Reds at Pittsburgh Pirates
Wednesday, August 13th, 7:05 PM ET

Cross-river rivals Pittsburgh and Cincinnati square off in Game Two of this three-game series in the Steel City when Paul Maholm takes on Josh Fogg. A quick check of each hurler's home and road ERA tells us all we need to know in this matchup as Maholm's 3.14 home ERA in more than FIVE FULL RUNS better than Fogg's 8.15 road ERA this season. With Maholm in solid current form, look for Fogg to fall to 0-8 in his last eight August road team starts here tonight.

Play on: Pittsburgh

GINA

Wednesday, August 13, 2008 8:05 p.m. est.
San Francisco Giants (50-68) at Houston Astros (60-59)
(L) Barry Zito (6-14, 5.55) vs. (L) Randy Wolf (7-10, 4.67 ERA)
The hot Houston Astros have won their last five games, last five at Minute Maid Park and have beaten the San Francisco Giants in five of their last six contests. Look for the Astros to pound the Giants again tonight in Houston.

Go with Houston to grab their sixth straight victory against San Francisco and their lackluster offense. The Giants have dropped ten of their last 14 games away from home.

Houston Astros -155

JIMMY THE MOOSE

Game: Tampa Bay Rays at Oakland Athletics Aug 13 2008 10:05PM
Prediction: Tampa Bay Rays

Reason: Team's have both struggled with tonight's starters on the mound lately but tonight's the Rays ability to score will win out. Heading into last night's game the Rays had won 10 of their last 12 games. Tampa is 5-1 in their last 6 vs. a team with a losing record. The A's are 5-22 in their last 27 games prior to last night's game. Oakland has lost 7 of their lsat 8 home games. Oakland has lost 5 straight home games vs. a team with a winning record. The Rays can score runs while the A's have struggled all season long and that's the difference tonight. Play on the Tampa Bay Rays -.

Wednesday: Take KANSAS CITY/CHICAGO WHITE SOX UNDER the total of 9

Nick "BookieKiller" Parsons

BOS -1.5 (-115) Bodog vs 923 TEX

Red Sox RUN LINE -1.5 runs -115

The Rangers scored 17 runs last night and they still lost on the run line as the Red Sox scored 19 runs! That tells you how bad the current pitching situation is for the Rangers right now! Sending Luis Mendoza to the mound certainly wont help matters for the struggling Rangers. Of course, were certainly not going to advise you to lay the 235 on the money line with the Red Sox here but we do see extremely good value with Boston on the run line as by laying the 1.5 runs we only have to lay about 115 in juice. This is a great value, especially considering the pitching match-up tonight! The Rangers Mendoza is 2-5 with an 8.78 in ten starts. He is coming off of another very poor effort at Baltimore on Friday. Also, he got absolutely hammered in his only career appearance against the Red Sox and that came in April. He certainly will be no match for Boston here! Mendoza faces a real challenge here because of being matched up with Jon Lester of the Red Sox. The Boston southpaw is coming off of a rare, sub-par effort but he is still an amazing 7-1 with a 2.95 ERA in his 12 starts since May 25th! Look for him to quiet the Texas sticks today while, at the same time, he should get a ton of run support as Boston tees off on Mendoza and a struggling and over-used Rangers bullpen that is one of the worst in all of baseball! Lay the 1.5 runs with the Red Sox for what should be a dominating win on Wednesday night!
