Wednesday Totals

I like the way they both have matched up against similiar opponents. I don't really consider Vilanova game a true indication of the Spartan totals considering Vilanova is a young team the likes to get up and down the court and still has shown no signs of playing solid defense.
I haven't won a bet that I did a write up on so I consider it a jinx but anyway.

Northwestern has struggled offensively and face their toughest test against a tough man to man defense that NC State plays. The Wildcats only managed 59 points @ K state and nearly 60 percent of those points came from behind the ARC. They won't get many quality looks from downtown @ N.C State tonight and probably won't get many second chance points either. NWesterns only chance will be to slow the game down and D up. Wolfpack should have a big enough lead toward the end to sit on the rock and milk the clock.
Georgia Tech loves to press and run all game long. Minnesota will have no choice but to play at a faster pace, I don't think they will have alot of trouble breaking the press which should lead to quick buckets for the Gophers. This game should be close throughout and the young exciting Yellow jacket team should force a fast pace game for 40 minutes.
Anyhow lets hope this isn't a 0-3 night. Good Luck to everyone else.

i'm playing the wolfpack under also. sendek knows how to defend the princeton-style offense as well as anyone around, and has some great athletes to pull it off. nw will be lucky to break 50.
