well I am adding one more play- been looking at this game closely and reading articles etc. and I think the Avs will come to play tonight and break their losing streak. I do not like the heavy chalk but in this spot I am going to play it. Also helps that Sam has it as a huge play.

Last meeting early in the year in PIT was 6-3 NYI with no Mario. PIT 5 goals last night with the return of Kovalev - that was with no points from Lemieux. PIT defense should be a bit vunerable after playing last night. NYI avg 3+ goals per game and 3+ per game on the road while PIT allows over 2.5 per game at home and averages 2.62 goals per game at home. Osgood has been touched up for a few goals lately, and if Snow starts I like it more. I also think Aubin and his 2.72 goals against averages is starting tonight.

For those of you who did not watch the Avs game I thought they were going to blow it. I made a bad decision on the total in that game, I bought into the rhetoric that they were going to break out of their scoring slump... They are definitely playing a defensive brand of hockey right now- I will look to play a couple of unders with them in the upcoming games- I do not think I can back them again until they show that their offense is back on track.....
