michigan -5: said i was going to it so i'm doing it. i'm expecting michigan players to step up for their coach - we will see. anyway imo martelli is an upgrade over howard.

etsu +3: this is just a gut play. mocs are off two losses while trying to clinch the socon regular season, and etsu is terribly shorthanded, but the bucs were embarrassed by 30 in chattanooga in the first matchup of this longstanding rivalry and tonight i think they go all out to even the score.

ind st +5: sycamores have led all mvc contenders into the second half at some point but haven't been able to hold it together until the endgame. maybe tonight is their chance as the panthers have a saturday showdown in cedar falls with loyola chicago for the regular season title.

samford +5-: warning -this is probably a loser because it looks too good to be true. yes furman needs this to have any chance of catching utc for the socon regular season crown. and yes furman routed the bulldogs by 32 in greenville back in december when samford was coming off a road upset of ole miss. but today in the right now samford is on a roll winning 8 of their last 9 and stand 12-2 at home. meanwhile the paladins (my favorite college nickname) have racked up 7 of their 10 losses on the road, 6 of them in-conference. what the hell - it's only money.

No NC State play? I predict they will play well tonight as they get tuned up for the UNC game Saturday.

lowell i hope youre right but i have given up on trying to predict when the pack will play well. i like keatts, i think hes a man of character and a great recruiter but i have some doubts about his player decisions and in-game coaching. i sincerely hope to be proven wrong.

I HOPE YOU HAVE BEEN DOING WELL MY FRIEND. I COULDN?T AGREE MORE ON MARTELLI BEING A COACHING UPGRADE. PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST RECRUITS HOWARD HAS LANDED IMO :0008

hey bro, we'll find out in a minute what howard's players think of him. doing great down here on the coast, trying to east out the retirement door but they wont let me. we'll be heading up to blowing rock in a few weeks for the wife's birthday vacation {yes she's spoiled). if you want to meet up somewhere and swap drinks and lies, shoot me a line.

watching the furman/samford game on tv and i gotta say, except for the 3 point line, this is same as small college ball was fifty years ago. ok maybe players are a little more athletic but the flow of the game is the same. that's why i love watching the smaller conferences.

I am off the NC State bandwagon. I know they lost their center before the year began but Keats should have gotten a big from the portal. BC?s frontline outscored State?s 28-12.
