as i sit here trying to figure out my new system for hockey...
here are some thoughts:
1) Ottawa played last nite, and they're playing a crappy florida team at home...look for alot of goals here...a 5-3 score or something. Last three games in FLorida played over, and the fourth one was a PUSH.
2) look at calgary +1.5, they seem to be for real early on in the season, they played a tough game last nite, and I hope that calg will continue their defensive style...cause Lord knows they won't blow any teams out.
Detroit seems to start off slow out of the gate at home...we'll see if this trend continues tonite.
3) i would bite and take the minny/bost game under 5.0.
last year, lots of minny's games at home went under...i think they'll want to be competitive at home again this year and watch for a low scoring affair.Minny's had some rest, unlike in the 4-3 win against L.A, so hopefully this'll be a low scoring affair.
I'm not putting any money on these games..just my thoughts tonite.
good luck to all.
