At least I can hope

Early looks at the lines. . . one stands out: Tennessee +13 over Florida. . .

This game looks shady all around with this high of a line. . . I will play this game small, but gotta take Tennessee here. The main reason is the game Florida played against Georgia. . . very tough game and I really expect a letdown after such a big win. The Vols are a good team and they have played well on the road (for the most part). I still look at this Gator team as being very young and vulnerable during any game. . . having to lay 13 to a good team even at home is difficult to expect for this team.

Both teams should be on a high after their Sunday wins. . . probably cancels each other out, but both could be a little sluggish and 13 points would be huge.

Once again, a small play. . . probably not the smart way to go, but Vegas got me to bite on this one. Still looking at the rest.

Just gonna post some writeups as I go along. . . not sure how much to play this one yet:

Ohio State laying 8 over Michigan. . . Buckeyes playing very strong at home. . . Michigan a very hot team having won nine in a row but eight of those have come at home, the one road win over UCLA on national tv. I think Ohio State is better than any of the nine teams Michigan beat to get to this game and playing the game in Columbus will give them a huge lift over Michigan. As long as Ohio State plays decent defense (better than UCLA lets hope), we should be fine.

Not really liking the card for tonight. . . not gonna risk a lot on these plays but here's my final picks:

Average plays:

Utah St. +1 over Cal Irvine. . . Normally I back the Anteaters several times a year. . . but Utah State has always owned this team. Can't see it changing this year.

South Carolina layign 4 over Auburn. . . SC undefeated at home so far this year and Auburn a great record coming in but only having played 3 games on the road. Coming off a nice win over Arkansas so they are due to lose! Line would be higher if not for Auburns record IMO.

Small plays:

Wake Forest pk over Maryland. . . only concern is they are coming off that loss to Duke. . . how will they respond? Should get the win at home though.

Minnesota +9.5 over Wisconsin. . . game should come down to the wire.

Ohio State laying 8 over Michigan. . . for reasons stated above.


That's all. . . no play on Tennessee. . . I really like them, but if Volfan finds value in Florida laying the points over his team, then no reason for me to go against him. . . I'll sit back and watch.
