Can't count the zips out. If Dambrot can get some guard play this time could surprise some people.

You are correct. Hitchens took a major step forward tonight. He is so fast and looks to be improving on his jumper as well. We have not had a true point since Dru graduated so it will be fun to watch this kid develop. This team will have their growing pains as all young teams do but they should get better with each passing game. Dayton is coming to town saturday, should be interesting.

When Zeke joins the program next year watch out, they could be a major player for a few years.

spang - thoughts on Kent tomorrow? I'm thinking St. Mary's gets their revenge by pounding inside to Samhan. The Gaels laying 3 seems pretty good to me, but it wouldn't be the first trap I fell for.

I already played Kent for a unit. Not a super strong play by any means. I saw St Mary play Utep and was very unimpressed. I know its just one game and they have moved forward since then. I just think its also a tough place to come in and steal a victory.

I would certainly not try to talk you out of your play. Your reasoning is sound. If Kent can be exploited, its down on the block and Samhan for sure has the ability to do it. I really like the Flashes guard play and I just can't pass up Kent in the role of a home dog as its not a role you often see them in

spang - thanks for the info. St. Mary's was sloppy and had a ton of TO's in the UTEP game, as well as under performing in the win against Providence for that matter. If Kent's guards can get the pressure and create the TO's, they have a chance at upsetting them 2 straight years.

I'm still leaning towards the Gaels. I see the line has already been knocked down to 2.

GL with all your plays tomorrow.
