POR ML was undoubtedly the best bet all year. Yes, the final margin was just 5 points. And yes, the Blazers only managed to score 10 Pts in the final 8 minutes. BUT none of that really mattered because this one was NEVER in doubt. POR held a DD lead for 30 straight minutes until the last two minutes of the game. As expected, it was a clear tank job by Donovan and the Thunder which, quite frankly, was the right thing to do in order to increase their odds of facing Memphis in the first round. This was a situation where the ML price was not correlative to the number on the spread. I hope some others were able to get down big on the Blazers too. Other than tonight, you will never see me post something that says free money, ever. Though the odds were a little steep, this was as close to guaranteed money in the NBA as you're ever going to see. We'll keep an eye out for any additional playoff seeding/positioning scenarios which may offer value -- we may see a few with the way top seeds are spread out in the West -- but this was about as good as it gets. Thanks Donovan -- you'll only hear that when I'm betting against the Thunder, never ON them.
