YTD: 88-70-5....had that UB game all the way last night.....:SIB ....i'll take lucky over good every day of the week.
The Saturdays are dwindling my friends....lets win some money today!!
So far, just one play for me in the nooners....and I going to play it as a larger than usual bet. I like the play a lot.
NC St +11.5 over UNC
Its been fun watching UNC's football ressurection this fall. Butch Davis certainly has got it going and everyone is talking about a future ACC power. But, has anyone seen the job being done in Raleigh? Oh sure, its not a smooth winning machine, but the Pack are playing solid ball. Important to this forum is the fact, the Pack are 7-2 ATS this season and have covered all their ACC games this season. For that, I'd nominate OBrien as coach of the year if that keeps up for to more weeks. The Pack are solid. The run defense has stepped up in recent weeks with the return of Nate Irving and the back 7 can ball hawk with the best of them. UNC has explosiveness on offense, but the Packs D is good enough to contain that and force a team with some QB doubt into mistakes. On offense, they're running the football weill on offense with a couple different tailbacks and young QB Russell Wilson has a 12-1 TD/INT ration. He has thrown for 2 TDs in four straight games. I expect all those trends for NC St to continue today. The Heels are a real good team and will likely win this game. But, the Pack have not been blown out their ACC games and will be in this the whole way.
Last season, after a slow start, OBrien's crew rebounded a became a bit of a moneymaker, closing out with five covers in seven games. Included in that was a 4-point, 31-27 win and cover over the Heels. The Pack did struggle by dropping their last two, but I think OBrien has more of his program and team in place now than he did a year ago. They ran out of gas. This year, they're playing better, are more talented and peaking......this could be a sneaky, sneaky upset, but I dont have the balls to go the ML route.
Traditionally this is an underdog series. The Dog has gone 15-8 ATS since 1985, 8-2 ATS the last 10 years.
NCST has perennially been one of the best road dogs plays out there. The Pack are 20-7 ATS as road dogs this decade, including 3-1 this year. They're 16-5 in that role in conference play.
Love the Pack today!!
Good Luck!! :toast:
