Carolina +10: too many points for a bad defense like Minny to be laying. I think Weinke keeps them w/in the 10.
Miami +6: too many pts for a team who doesn't put up huge numbers to be laying. I see a FG deciding this one.
Chicago/Baltimore: OVER 33.5 (see thread on replacement refs). No Jamal Lewis and w/Grbac behind center, I see Balty passing more. We'll see if their defense is as hungry as last year. The last RB to gain over 100 yds vs the Ravens? James Allen.
CINCY -1: OK, they've been terrible but there is some young talent on this team. A healthy Darnay Scott should help Warrick break through. Dillon will run wild.
PHILLY +3: Sorry, but as good as StL offense is, they have to show-me (nice Missouri tie in) their defense has a pulse. We also don't know if they have the hunger they had 2 years ago. Philly is the real deal.
NYG/DENVER OVER 44. Denver has huge numbers going "OVER" at home (something like 67-68% the past 5 years in Denver). The new field won't matter. The elevation is still there. New York defense will be sucking wind by the 2nd quarter.
