Got M GORDON and C IVORY in there now......got Tevin Coleman on the bench who just got named the starter for Falcons! Really really like Coleman, but not sure about the match up. Still want to put him in there on Monday night!!

Who should sit?? Gordon or Ivory?? Leaning Gordon vs Detroit. Unproven...don't know what to expect yet

Chargers to use running backs by committee

by Sean d'Oliveira | CBSSports.com
(9/7/15) While Chargers running back Melvin Gordon will be an integral part of the offense this season, quarterback Philip Rivers said the team will rely on other running backs as well, reports the San Diego Union-Tribune. "It's not going to be all Melvin," Rivers said.
Gordon was a first-round pick in the 2015 draft, but did struggle at times during the preseason. He will still receive first-team snaps, but Danny Woodhead will see time as the pass-catching specialist.
"As coach has always said ? I'm not saying anything out of the blue ? it's a running back by committee crew," Rivers said. "It's going to be a team effort in that bunch. We're going to need all of them to carry the load in the run game and to catch the ball out of the backfield."

Ivory to see smaller role in 2015?

by Larry Hartstein | Senior Analyst
(2/9/15) Although there's a good chance the Jets will release running back Chris Johnson, running back Chris Ivory still could face a smaller role due to Chan Gailey's offense, reports ESPN.com. Gailey's spread attack "puts a premium on a running back who can play in space and catch the ball," the website said. "That could mean a smaller role for Ivory."
Ivory (6-0, 222 pounds) is entering the final year of his deal. He played 42 percent of the snaps last season, compared to 37 percent for Johnson, per the website.
ESPN.com says the "ideal fit" for the Jets would be impending free agent C.J. Spiller, who had his best year, 2012, playing for Gailey in Buffalo.

[h=3]Falcons list Tevin Coleman atop running back depth chart for Week 1 [/h]
by Michael Hurcomb | CBSSports.com
(9/8/15) The Falcons announced Tuesday rookie running back Tevin Coleman will start Week 1 against the Eagles. Devonta Freeman is listed as the second-string running back, while Terron Ward is the third-string running back. Coleman and Freeman were hobbled by hamstring injuries during the preseason. Coleman was able to participate in the final two preseason games, but Freeman has been limited to just practicing with the team and did not take any preseason snaps.

[h=1]Tevin Coleman named Falcons starter for Week 1[/h] By Justin Dade, Falcons Correspondent, Tue, Sep 8th 12:18pm EDT
The Falcons have released their first unofficial depth chart of the season on their website and rookie Tevin Coleman sits atop at running back. This comes as a big surprise, and it likely has something to do with Devonta Freeman's hamstring injury. If Coleman impresses against the Eagles, expect him to carry the load until Freeman proves he deserves the majority. (Vaughn McClure - Twitter)
Fantasy Impact: Wow, this is huge. Tevin Coleman owners should be ecstatic with this news. He will get his chance to take over the Falcons backfield way earlier than we expected with Freeman still hobbled. Coleman is a solid flex play Week 1 at home against the Eagles in a potential high scoring game. This is a massive opportunity for the young speedster
.

:SIB....gotta start Coleman as you stated..ya ended up w/2 RB's in a PPR who come out on passing downs..sit Ivory and keep an eye out for waiver wire RB who catches passes..

good luck today..

Thanks OS!!! Yea think I'll sit Gordon this week see what he can do. I still think Ivory is going to have a solid season. He's projected 11.2 points this week in the league.

Would you consider McFadden??

OS...opinion on the WR situation? Really torn. I like Andre Johnson a lot for the season, but this match up looks tough! Steve Smith could have a big day in Denver! Trestman's offense is going to score!
