Long time observer of this site and today, breaking my virginity and posting plays.

Atlanta +5 over Carolina: Additions of L.Milloy and J.Abraham only helps what was already an above average defense more importantly, against the run which is what I see the Panthers doing alot of today. Falcons are 4-1 ATS in Week #1 with Vick. Look for a very good/close game.

Eagles -6 over Houston: Is there any reason not to expect D.Carr to be sitting on his behind 3-5 times today? Look for Dante Stallworth to have a big year with Eagles starting today.

Lions +6: Basically a trend play as the past 6 years, the Superbowl loser is 0-6 ATS in Week #1. Plus, this line has a backdoor written all over it.

Agree with all your plays. I Wish you could have gotten Phi earlier though.

Smith should be out for Car, or at least ineffective with a hammy.

Eagles have deepest D-line in the league. Not good for often sacked carr.

Good Luck This season!

3-0 on the early card. I was at a bar for the 4pm games with no computer access but I played:

Cowboys: They decided to only show up in the 1st qtr = Loss

Bears: Game was never in doubt

Over 44 Arizona:

5-1 for day and to start the season. Good news is that my local sports bar has wireless, so I'll be bringing my notebook with me to post all plays.

Leaning towards the Chargers tonight as I can see the headlines in Oakland's newspapers tomorrow morning "Moss goes off on Brooks & Shell"

Chargers -2.5 (-145)

Bolts pull away in the 4th qtr. Simply picking them based on talent on each side of the ball. I'll take the better defensive team here.

Well, I was close. Either way, I knew the press would have an article the next day except it's Porter instead of Moss. Pretty scary, even Baltimore is laying 12 points to Oakland this week. When was the last time the Ravens layed double digits.
