Man, cant believe it is already November and Week 10....i am already going through withdrawals! :mj07:
Alright, here's what I have for the early games:
UVA ML, -116, over Miami. I have been on a pretty good run in the ACC this season, so I am not shy about looking at this one, even though its looks dead even and ugly on paper. I like the Cavs, they're just more confident right now than the Canes and feel they're a bit more efficient on offense. They always find a way to pull it out in the end it seems. I like that about them today at home against the really young Cane team.
Minnesota -7 over Northwestern. The Gophers have revamped their D and its paid dividends with a team that is stingy in giving up points with big play ball hawking potential. They will shut down a Northwestern team seeing a downgrade at the QB position due to injury. I see the Gophers being +3 in turnovers today setting up a couple easy scores for Minnesota. On offense, the efficient Weber for Minny will pick apart the Wildcat D with Decker and the newly emerging Brandon Green. Gophers win this one by two touchdowns.
Wisco +5.5 over MSU. I have a hunch that MSU might come out a bit flat today after last week's rivalry game. I like the changes Wisconsin has made on their offense in recent weeks. The QB change improves them a bit, and going more with Clay over Hill at RB gives the Badgers more energy, speed and big play ability without losing any power running. Graham can make plays just like Beckhum, and maybe not having to find a way to get an injured player involved in the lineup, like Beckhum, might just free up the team to put a better foot forward. Plus, I still like Wisconsin's back 7 and they will thwart Hoyer the way Michigan could not last week. Clay vs Ringer is an excellent tailback matchup, and I think Clay can get as many yards today. Sparty is just 15-25 ATS in their last 40 games as a home favorite. This game gets decided by a late field goal.
Good Luck!! :toast:
