YTD: 29-26-2.....a few weeks ago, I had a .500 week, but all the winners were double plays. I had been living on that until this last Sunday when a 3-4 record including a big fat goose egg with the double plays.
Half a season left......and I am basically back at even (up a whole 1/2 unit!!).....oh well, plenty of time to make some NFL money.....so, lets move on to what will be an intriguing NFL Week 10.
Bears/Titans Over 37.5.......both teams have been putting points on the board season. The Bears have done a 'good' job of allowing points as well. Overs have hit in 19 of the last 25 games at Soldier Field. Somehow, someway both teams end up in the 20s.
Atlant ML, -117, over NOLA......I like what the Falcons have been this season and they're averaging over 30 ppg at home. In a divisional game coin flip, I'll take the home team.
Minny ML, -132, over GB......same as above, and, in this case, I think the Vikings come into tnhis game the more desperate team as a loss really bounces them far down the playoff pecking order. This is a playoff game for them, for intents and purposes, and I think they respond itheir most complete game of the season.
Detroit +6.5 over Jax......whoa, ugly Dog time. Actually, Lions have been a moneymaker the last month going 3-1 ATS against the likes of the Vikings, Texans, Skins and Bears......Jaguars just aren't playing as well right now as those other four teams.....Lions have been flirting with their first win of the season. They might get that today, but either way it will be a close one.
Baltimore +2.5 over Houston......ok, so I wont take all the home teams in the early day coin fliips. I just cant imagine the Ravens D allowing Sage Rosenfells to have a lot of success today. Flacco will have another good day as Houston's D is vulnerable to good quarterback play. Here's the Ravens in a nutshell: They struggle against fellow top flight teams as evidenced by their 0-3 SU, 1-2 ATS record against fellow playoff contenders......but they destroy the average teams and below, going 5-0 SUATS with an average margin of victory of more than 12 points.....gotta love teams that flat take care of business against the teams they should. Baltimore gets it done again today.
A card of five.....hope I have some winners in there.....good luck and have fun watching the games!! :toast:
