I want to point out though that Oakland went into their bye with a much needed win which is very important to do.
One of the worst things in any sport is to have a teams MOMENTUM stopped !!!
S.D. went into their bye covering 6 straight and even scored in the 40s in the last 2 games.
The Gold Sheet had a system called the score 40 letdown theory, saying to score that many on an NFL team is usually hard to do. All the breaks and calls went their way in the game. ( not just why they won )
Any way we'll have to see if S.D. can pick right back up where they left off. Their the toast of the town at the moment. Meanwhile Oakland has been the opposite.
