I apologize for the bad info on Hart and Henne last week. Some deliberate mis-information was being put out there by a member of the staff. I should have been more cautious given the varying stories out there. That said, Henne's bad shoulder nearly kept that game under on it's own, until the typical Sparty collapse at the end.

Feeling good about this week's card, and I have a big play.....

GOY:

Michigan/Wisky Under 47

This game hasn't gone over 43 points since before Lloyd Carr in 1994. The last time it went over the total was '98 when the teams combined for 37. Hart is still very banged up and Henne will still not be 100%. If Hill plays he'll be hobbled and their RT Vandenheuvel is likely out with a knee. Michigan's OL is a mess right now also (Kraus, Boren, Mitchell all playing hurt). Weather looks fine, but I would play this game confidently down to 40 if it was played in a dome. The only real concern I have is the loss of Langford (CB) for Wisky, but I imagine Ikegwuonu will probably shadow and get physical w/Manningham. I see this game being a 16-13 type. I should also add I would not touch UM -3 in this game. Very little motivation for UM to win this one.

Top plays:

Miami -3 (-125) - low scoring game so I would pay for the insurance

Others:

Arky - pick
Mizzou -19
Iowa -14'
Purdue -4 (always fade Sparty after the UM game)

Hey Man!

I am not really sure you actually provided bad info.

Your info said Henne was not respodning to treatment and Hart was having issue esp. w/ lateral movement.

It was reflected in their play, especially with how little Hart played and how in and out he was.

You had to figure they would dress and try to give it go, but i didn't see anything really in their play that led me to believe that they were healthy. If not for a rival game, they probably would not have played, like against Minny the week before.

I know there was some grief thrown your way, but, whatever, i dont think there are more trust worthy sources on this board regarding Fort Schembelcher than yourself, so it is what it is.

It was not bad info that lost that bet, but a good old fashioned Sparty collapse......and a great play by Henne and Manningham.....as you know, that'll happen if you decide to play the point spread games.

Interesting stat on the Wisco-UM game.....i recall you talking about that last year, and leading me to a winning bet.....sometimes I find it uncanny how trends like this fall in line year after year.

Also, love that Arky play.....been fading Tenn in their big games for about six seasons now, no reason to stop now, and Arky appears to be rolling!

Go Blue!

Apology accepted, lost on it but it was my choice to tail you...

anywho, like your posts so please continue, interesting thoughts on the michigan game, sconies D is miss 99% of the time and hit 1% so I think there could be a lot of scoring, all depends on how healthy the two RB's are for both clubs, I don't really bet O/U's but I really like Michigan winning this game by more than a few.

GL - my word of advice is to play mich before the line starts to move

Always look for your threads Cwood, You're usually pretty tight w/ your info. Keep it comin.
Wisky is very beat up also. Chapman on the DL is also out, as if we weren't thin enough there. Stayin away from this game, but with a gun to my head I'd take Mich. Bucky left everything on the field at OSU, not sure they will be physically ready for this one. Close early then we'll run out of gas at the end. JMO Good Luck:toast:

btw guys, word this week is Hart is not faring very well with that high ankle sprain. He'll again be a game time decision but due to the re-injury at MSU right now he's feeling worse than he was last week at this time.

Last week Hart went for 110 yds on 15 rushes but Carlos Brown and Brandon Minor combined for just 5 yards on 7 carries. Don't expect much out of UM's running game this week.

Why wouldn't Mich be motivated to win this gm ?

No chance at the BCS title game, and next week's game determines the Big Ten champion regardless of what happens vs Wisky. For UM, it's only for pride. Obviously the players and coaches never want to lose, but it ain't a rivalry game and it plays no part in their postseason hopes.

Like the Mountaineer play, please keep us updated on the Hart situation.

IMHO - if Hart wants a shot at that heisman (which I feel he still does) he's got to perform the rest of the season starting with Sconie, I say he goes for over a buck fifty on 20 carries and 2 tuddies.

GL with whatever you do but I am staying with your blue

Add NW +2' - almost a top play, not quite.

NW senior day and playing for bowl eligibility. IU 0-9 SU and ATS the week prior to Purdue. Tyrell Sutton might go for 200.

Wolves

This is a very important game for the Wolves. If they lose this one then next week is a must win or it is off to the Capital One Bowl. If they win this one and lose next week [ providing that the bucks beat Illinois ] they go to the Rose Bowl. See College Football news.
Best wishes

I saw that on CFN DD. The people in the AD at UM believe that if they beat OSU, they go to the Rose. Win or lose vs Wisko and lose to OSU and go to the Citrus (Capital One)
