San Francisco +3.5 (-120) over Chicago *****
This is a dual sourced bet, as I believe in one QB and definitely not the other. Trubisky to me is destined to be a career backup QB showing to be an inaccurate thrower in this league, even though he is a rookie. Garoppolo on the other hand is a legitimate starter in the league, much more accurate of a passer and with a decent running game will show too much for the Bears defense to handle. Garappolo is playing for a big contract, so there is a lot of incentive, even though both of these teams are just playing out the string with no chance at the playoffs. Niners 24-20
Carolina/New Orleans over 48 points ****
We have a lot about both these teams defenses but I am just not buying either as anything great. The offenses will rule the day here, as Carolina's defense can't stop Brees and his receiving corp and on the other side Newton should put up enough points as the Saints defense has shown big cracks in the last few weeks. New Orleans 30-24
LA Rams -7 over Arizona ****
The Rams come off a good home win against the Saints while Arizona had a good win beating Jacksonville. The Rams though are a complete team and annihilated Arizona 33-0 last time they played. The Rams have all their major offensive weapons back today and their defense should stifle the cardinals. LA Rams 28-13.
New England OVER 28.5 points (Team total) ****
The Patriots have score at least 33 points in their last 3 games overall and get 2 starting offensive lineman back today. With weapons at RB, WR and TE, the Patriots are loaded on offense. On the other side, do not let Buffalo's defensive effort last week fool you, KC is terrible right now. The Bills let up 34 points to the Jets! Never mind the 54 to the Chargers and 47 to New Orleans in their last 4 games. Don't sweat the half point, the Patriots will go well over it. Pats 34-24
NY Giants +9 over Oakland **
Not sure exactly who Carr is going to throw the ball to in this game as both his top targets are out. Honestly Geno Smith is poor, but so has Eli been all year. This shapes up to be an ugly game, but the Giants should keep it close. Oakland 20-16
