Well fellas,

This has become a weekly occurrence and I appreciate anyones suggestions.

Starting:

Adrienne Peterson
De Angel Williams

This week the conflict is at running back:

Turner vs Stewart?

Michael Turner playsg against a pissed of Tampa Bay team at home?

Or Jonathan Stewart who will get half the snaps from D. Williams making for a great 1-2 punch?

:director: Thanks again and Im looking to win this thing!!

tough call, but I'd go with Michael "Burner" Turner. 1.) I hate playing 2 RB's on the same team who are in a RBBC. 2.) TB may be pissed, but they still gave up 299 rushing yards last Monday night...on a short week and playing in the ATL, where NFC South teams are undefeated at home, if I'm not mistaken.

Here's on of my cheatsheets....

Running Backs

1. Brian Westbrook - PHI vs CLE
2. Adrian Peterson - MIN at ARI
3. Matt Forte - CHI vs NO
4. DeAngelo Williams - CAR vs DEN
5. Steven Jackson - STL vs SEA
6. Thomas Jones - NYJ vs BUF
7. LaDainian Tomlinson - SD at KC
8. Dominic Rhodes - IND vs DET
9. Maurice Jones-Drew - JAX vs GB
10. Michael Turner - ATL vs TB
11. Steve Slaton - HOU vs TEN
12. Clinton Portis - WAS at CIN
13. Chris Johnson - TEN at HOU
14. Marshawn Lynch - BUF at NYJ
15. Derrick Ward - NYG at DAL
16. Jonathan Stewart - CAR vs DEN

Good luck this week! I am also still alive in one of my leagues and if I get the win this weekend, I'll be playing for about $600 in the SB next weekend. :)

If im not mistaken, the three TDs scored by Carolina's running back duo against TB were the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rushing touchdowns given up by the Bucs all year.... Monte Kiffin was livid after that game. A mad Kiffin makes for a dangerous defense.

I would roll with Stewart the way he has been playing.

Thanks both for your insight but Rawli that's my thought process as well. Although Tampa is on the road this week, I can't see Kiffin allowing his defense two breakdowns in a row...

That said, Michael Turner has produced all year... so a tough call to make indeed...

Thanks again.

You guys are right in that JStew has a much easier Defense, but it's a tough call.... Here's the rankings from a couple of other places.... The first guy thinks that all three are going to have a rough outing compared to about 16 other RB's.... The second set os from rotoworld, which is pretty much in line with the first set I posted.... Good luck, bro!

1 Forte,Matt R CHI NOS 75 1 5 50 1 17 A couple of scores, 100+ total yards.
2 Westbrook,Brian PHI CLE 100 2 3 30 0 15 Another big game for Westy!!!
3 Jones-Drew,Maurice JAC GBP 75 0 6 60 1 12 Will get more action without Matt Jones and possible Fred Taylor. We will boost MJD's numbers if Fred Taylor is finished for the year.
4 Peterson,Adrian MIN ARI 110 2 0 0 0 12 Hopefully he's cleared up his fumbling issues.
5 Jackson,Steven STL SEA 75 1 5 41 0 11 Making a late season push to prove critics wrong
6 Smith,Kevin R DET IND 60 1 4 65 0 10 Should hit 100 total against the Colts.
7 Barber,Marion DAL NYG 60 1 4 30 0 10 If he plays...
8 Tomlinson,Ladainian SDC KCC 100 1 4 35 0 10 K.C. (believe it or not) has a terrible, terrible defense.
9 Gore,Frank SFO MIA 63 0 4 31 1 10 Watch the injury report but should probably be a go
10 Lynch,Marshawn BUF NYJ 60 1 3 20 0 9 The Jets aren't bad vs the run
11 Johnson,Chris R TEN HOU 100 1 3 25 0 9 Dashes around the field all day long
12 Thomas,Pierre NOS CHI 75 1 3 30 0 9 If you need a flex or fill in, this is your man
13 Hightower,Tim R ARI MIN 38 0 3 17 1 9 Hasn't excelled lately and now faces vaunted run defense
14 Moore,Mewelde PIT BAL 50 1 3 15 0 9 Mewelde Moore continues to spell Fast Willie to keep him fresh for the playoffs.
15 Slaton,Steve R HOU TEN 75 1 3 25 0 9 Will play a big part in the game plan this week
16 Addai,Joseph IND DET 100 1 2 15 0 8 Will see more action this week
17 Williams,DeAngelo CAR DEN 125 1 2 15 0 8 On a tear, and now Denver comes to town. Big week coming
18 Portis,Clinton WAS CIN 80 1 2 20 0 8 Shows some fire with post game remarks. Now it's time to do so on the field.
19 Jones,Thomas NYJ BUF 90 1 2 20 0 8 Favorable match up at home vs the Bills this week
20 Brown,Ronnie MIA SFO 60 1 2 20 0 8 Not a bad match up but he has only 3 games this season with over 100 yards rushing
21 Lewis,Jamal CLE PHI 80 1 1 5 0 7 A serviceable flex start.
22 Benson,Cedric CIN WAS 75 1 1 5 0 7 As scary as this sounds, Benson is about their only option.
23 Morris,Sammy NEP OAK 60 1 1 10 0 7 Morris gets the goal line action
24 White,LenDale TEN HOU 75 1 0 0 0 6 Smashes his way into the end zone again
25 Stewart,Jonathan R CAR DEN 75 1 0 0 0 6 Will get his share of touches
26 Duckett,T.J. SEA STL 5 1 0 0 0 6 Even the touchdown doesn't save him from your bench
27 Morris,Maurice SEA STL 75 1 0 0 0 6 Time to start him against the lowly Rams
28 Turner,Michael ATL TBB 75 1 0 0 0 6 If they threw the ball to him he'd be the #1 pick next year

1 Adrian Peterson at ARZ -
2 Brian Westbrook vs. CLE Back to the old Westbrook
3 Matt Forte vs. NO -
4 DeAngelo Williams vs. DEN -
5 Chris Johnson at HOU -
6 Thomas Jones vs. BUF -
7 Steven Jackson vs. SEA
8 LaDainian Tomlinson at KC -
9 Maurice Jones-Drew vs. GB -
10 Michael Turner vs. TB -
11 Clinton Portis at CIN Beef with Zorn appears squashed
12 Ryan Grant at JAC -
13 Frank Gore at MIA Gametime-Decision? (ankle)
14 Joseph Addai vs. DET Questionable, ranked as if he'll start
15 Steve Slaton vs. TEN -
16 Brandon Jacobs at DAL Questionable(knee)
17 Marion Barber vs. NYG Could split work if he plays?
18 Ronnie Brown vs. SF -
19 Pierre Thomas at CHI -
20 Jonathan Stewart vs. DEN -

Let me ask you fellas this, would you start Desean Jackson in Philly over Devon Bess in Miami this week? That's my WR3 quandry this week....

My RB decision is not as bad.... I'm starting Westy and Mr. 4.24 and sitting Gore this week because Gore is "dinged up" and playing a MIA defense that's starting to gel a little.... Would anyone argue with sitting Gore this week?

I'm sure that this doesn't make it any easier....

"After hot and cold efforts early in the year, Michael Turner has improved his play against better competition. With this game at home on turf, he's almost impossible to sit in standard leagues....

Carolina's awesome offensive line should have their way with Denver. I don't see a letdown from the rushing attack, making Jonathan Stewart a solid RB2 for this week. He's getting the goal-line carries once again...."

No problemo... like u said, Turner has produced all year and he'll get his share of carries this weekend im sure.

On the other hand, Carolina running game is hot and they're playing one of the weaker rushing defenses.

So no sweat, you've got this one in the bag. ;) BRING HOME THE GOLD and we'll celebrate by hittin' the brews! :00hour

I got one more for the FF players here....

QB - Cutler or Rodgers this week? I have 'em almost even...with my gut saying Rodgers....

I agree... almost even with those two. Cutler could have a big game, but i vote Rodgers for consistency purposes.

I will add in my opinion on all of the questions posed, FWIW.

I would definitely start Bess over Jackson, he is getting the majority of targets each week now with Camarillo out. The only concern is that Ginn might have a bigger game with the matchup favoring the longer passing game, and he hasn't been a big part of the scoring of late. I think Philly is too difficult to pinpoint of late.

I think you have to start Cutler over Rogers, although the forecast for both is pretty close. I think the Broncos will have to pass a lot (more than usual), with Hillis going down last week, and the questions in that backfield. I don't have much faith in the Packers at this point, although Rogers has had a good year.

The Turner/Stewart thing is a tough one. I understand going with the better feature back in Turner, more carries, opportunities. But the ratings I go by favor Stewart in his matchup - but they are giving him 2 TDs, which is tough to count on. I agree with those that worry about going against the Bucs and Kiffen, and expect a big effort against Turner. Something tells me that Atlanta will have a tough go this weekend, and I'd probably stick with the ratings and go with Stewart. I could not argue with Turner, though.

Good luck to all of you guys. I actually lucked out a bit by inserting Pierre Thomas in for Brandon Jacobs in two playoff games last night. Coupled with the Bush injury, I'm off to a great start.

You lucky, dog. I had Pierre on my bench. I just couldn't pull the trigger on him against Chicago with Westy and Mr. 4.24. How could I start him over either of those guys?!!?!? He will definitely be in my starting lineup next week vs the Lions, but who do I sit? Gore? Westy? Mr 4.24? Tough calls next week assuming I make it to the Superbowl.

GL in the playoffs!

Wouldn't it be something if all three of us...and maybe 3 Seconds and some of the other FF guys all won our respective leagues and brought back about 6 Championships back here to Jack's place? LOL :mj06:

Working on my 3rd in 5 years....in the semi's this week, although I am a slight dog this week I think.

I have serious issues w/ my RB2's. They are all GTD basically & our line ups lock at 12:30 so I cant wait out the late games.

I have MB3/Choice/FatDale & Foster. RB1 is Light Blue Jesus aka Chris Johnson.

My only other tough call is Romo or PigPen.

Tough call but I go w/ Grant. Jax simply cant stop the run anymore.

x2 on Grant.

Congrats on the FF sucess. I won my first title last year and look to be the first team in the league's 10 year history to repeat this year. :toast:

Mr 4.24 aka Black Pearl aka Light Blue Jesus is a lock in your RB1.... I'd probably go with MBIII as my RB2 because I believe that he will be motivated by Jackass Jerry Jones idiotic comments last week questioning his toughness. I think that he may share some carries with Choice, but he should be motivated and get the GL touches. I've already spoke of my distain of starting 2 RBs from the same team, so Lenwhale would be out for me...and Foster is nothing like Gore. I would expect if Gore can't go, Robinson will have a better day than Foster and probably neither is likely to do much against MIA new and improved defense.

As to the QB, I'd be really tempted to play Pigpen, but weather reports indicate the possibility of strong winds in KC, which worries me because I have Bowe going this week. I guess I'd lean to Romo.

GL in the semis.... :mj06:

Get your ass registered for the bowl contest. Regarding Barber, is he playing? I have him too along with Addai/Rhodes or Lynch or Barber? I think Addai is out therefore I do have Rhodes. Thoughts anyone? Play 2.

I would play Grant too!

Need your help guys!
I'm on semi-final and wanna reach the finals. I am lock with my 2 starting rb (Peterson and Johnson) but i'm having a headache with my 3rd one...  What's your thought guys????? I have....:

1-Cadillac Williams (goal line rb for TB, fresher legs than Dunn...)
2. L. Washington (when he touches the ball can have huge game...)
3. D. Foster (Gore is unlikely playing so he will see lots of ball..)
4. C. Benson (the only healthy RB in Cin and the Bungles are playing home...)

Lean on Cadillac or Benson....

tough call no?

If your league awards your players a point per reception then you could think about starting Leon otherwise I'd probably go with Benson.

I have to pick between Eddie Royal or Santana Moss. Royal has been the more consistant player the past few weeks, my league awards a point per reception. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks Sylvan, My league isnt PPR so i will probably stick with Benson. Cadillac is a high risk high reward pick and i need a safer bet this weekend...

Would definitely play Moss if i were you. Cin pass d is.... well...:sadwave: and i think the Bungles will anyway keep it close so Moss should get lots of catches.
