Hit with Wisconsin early but didn't post it so won't count it in my record. Going with these mid-afternoon games:

Penn St. +10.5 (1 unit) - Call me a Big Ten homer if you will, pretty much anytime I can get the Lions catching double-digit points in a home game I am all over it. Alabama will probably win this game, but Penn St. should be able to keep this close.

Stanford -21 (1 unit) - Don't really like laying double-digit points, especially on the road, but I think it's warranted here. One of the big differences between college and NFL betting is that in college (especially early in the year) you often get matchups between two teams that are just not on the same level talent-wise. I think that's clearly the case here. Duke is just outclassed here and unless the entire Stanford team went out drinking all night they should roll.

4-team parlay (.25 units)
Penn St. +10.5
Stanford -21
South Carolina ML
Michigan +3.5

Good luck all!

Well, my logic for the Stanford game held true (though even I didn't see the 4 missed FGs coming). Unfortunately, it turns out that the same thing was true in the Alabama/Penn St. game - and not in my favor. So I'm down the juice and the blown parlay heading into the night games. Going with these:

Michigan +3.5 (1 unit) - As an Illini alum I certainly have no love for the Wolverines. But who is Notre Dame to be giving 3.5 on the road to ANYONE?

BYU +7.5 (1 unit) - BYU is a good road team, and a good team PERIOD. They should be able to hang around.

BYU got dicey at the end but came through.

And the Michigan/ND game . . .wow . . . just wow. Don't think I've ever seen a team give away a game as badly as Notre Dame did tonight. They completely dominated for 4 quarters and still found a way to lose. This does not change the fact that what I saw tonight was a very very bad Michigan team, one that I will most likely be betting very heavily against whenever they're favored for the rest of the season. Still, I'll definitely take this one, tip my hat, and say thank you Wolverines!
